            O Washington, O Shanksville!

One:     Peace be within you, O Kabul!

*SHARING THE PEACE OF CHRIST

THE PEOPLE OF GOD PRAYING

UNISON PRAYER OF CONFESSION

God our hope and refuge,

we confess that anger and hatred have held on to us.

Healing has begun, but loss is still real.

            We are not in control.

            We don’t like being vulnerable.

We still want security or the illusion of it.

We still want our enemies to be annihilated

and for our lives to return to safety and Shalom.

Forgive us and heal us.

Raise us to new life.

Strengthen us in the way of compassion and justice,

Fix our faith on you

so we know that nothing can separate us from you, through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Amen.

Our Vision Wall Is Changing Today!

Nurturing persons in Christian Living is the fourth action point of our proposed Mission Statement.

Our Vision Wall question for this month is in two parts.

How are we doing today?    Where can we improve?

Check the Vision Wall this morning on your way to coffee after the service.  Review the input that you have provided so far and be sure to answer this month’s questions using the white answer cards located at the wall or on the tables in Fellowship Hall.

Your Vision Team would like to know what You think.
