TO WORSHIP
Leader: God whispers your name. Come and worship.
People: All of us.
Young, old, sister, brother, cousin, friend.
Leader: Again and again: Come and worship.
People: All of us.
The proud and the strong, the lost and the searching, the joyous and the
sad.
Leader: From a whisper to a shout: Come and
worship.
People: All of us.
Word-arrangers and finger-painters, rope-jumpers and slow-walkers,
belly-laughers and soul-singers.
Leader: Here in this place, the light is shining,
joy is brimming and God is beckoning.
Come and worship.
People: All of us.
Here and now!

SILENT REFLECTION
UNISON PRAYER
Lord of life, we praise you
for the faith and love of these young disciples. With your blessing they have grown strong and
true. Today they accept for themselves
the grace you offered them at their baptism.
Today they make a lifelong commitment to serve and honor you. Strengthen them to fulfill the vows they make
this day in all their future decisions.
Help them discover their true calling through the gifts you have given
them. Show them the wonders of your
Spirit at work, so that their faith will keep getting richer and deeper, until
they are even older and grayer than we are.
Keep them ever in your care for Jesus’s sake. Amen.

We are grateful, O God, that
your Spirit is at work within us, nudging and stretching us, and causing us to
grow, and to think, and to present ourselves here to worship. As we are surrounded by friends, we sense
again that we could never live alone. Let
our offerings be an expression of our gratitude, and may they help to encourage
others. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Check out the Vision Wall
this morning on your way to coffee after the service. Be sure to answer the question posted using
the white answer cards located at the wall or on the tables in Fellowship
Hall. This week our two questions are:
Do we always focus on Christ
as the object of our faith?
What
can we do as a Church to
“Seek,
welcome, and gather persons into the body of Christ?
Your Vision Team would like
to know what You think.
The United Methodist Church
of Cadillac is:
Growing In God’s Grace,
Sharing Christ’s Love - Together.
The Staff Parish Relations
Committee is seeking qualified persons for the positions of Bell Choir Director
and Nursery Care Giver. Please speak to
Pastor Dale (775-5362) or Wendy Fulton (876-0318) if you are interested in
either one of the two positions.
The Trustees and Education
Committee will hold a Painting Bee on Saturday, June 15 at 9:00 a.m. to paint
the children’s Sunday School rooms. If
you are a good painter or furniture mover, who would like to help, please let
Debbie Ostema (775-5362) know as soon as possible.
On Saturday, June 22 at 7:00
p.m., we will be having a Church Talent Show. Do you sing, dance, play an
instrument? Would you be able to share a
favorite poem or story? If you are
willing to share one of your talents, please call Debbie Ostema soon and let
her know, if not, we hope you will just come and enjoy the evening. The Membership Committee has agreed to
provide refreshments afterwards.
