GREETINGS AND WELCOME
PARISH NOTES
*CALL TO WORSHIP
One: We gather here to continue in celebrating the resurrection. The coming of new life in ways we can hardly imagine.
All: We watch the earth pour forth new life. A greening celebration of the Good News.
One: O Holy Maker of this wonderful reality, you come among us as the unexpected Jesus. You show us how to live and love in ways we still can barely understand. . .
All: To love our enemies, to offer kindness in the face of anger, to give and give again to those in need.
Turn us upside down
today, for we would be an Easter people.

SILENT REFLECTION
UNISON PRAYER
God of amazing good news, who exalted
Jesus as Leader and Savior, talk to us along life’s way, meet us as we break
bread together in our homes and move us in worship to claim your promises. Open our eyes and quicken our hearts, that we
may be about your mission of sharing the good news with both disciples and
strangers. May our witness help others
to see Jesus and lead others to obedience.
Amen.

Vision Wall Is Here!
God has a vision for the United Methodist Church of
Cadillac.
This
morning we introduce our Vision Wall. Your Vision Team hopes that this wall will
become an effective communication tool for us all. Starting today, follow our wall’s “family” as
they talk about what our Church has accomplished since our super bowl Sunday
vision survey in 1997; discuss the importance of a continuing renewal of our
faith journey; dream about our future; and capture your thoughts on what God’s
vision is for our church.
Your
Vision Team is comprised of Sue Allen, Sue Smith, Judy Coffey, Butch Soltman,
Jeff Hinkston, Pastor Dale Ostema and Bob Campbell.
All
are invited to a five week Mission Study on the Children of Africa led by Clara Handy which will start this
Tuesday, April 16th at 10:30 a.m.
Keep
Thursday, April 25th at 1:30 open for a great afternoon. Our missionaries, Sylvia and Marvin Reimer
will be here to talk to us with pictures of their work at
Today’s Worship Ministry. . .
