*CALL TO
WORSHIP
L: Come, people of God, to know again who
you are; return to the One who gives you life.
P: We come as children of God, longing for
a closer walk with our Creator.
L: Come, all who see your own weakness and
imperfections, for God is not impressed by outward appearances.
P: We respond to God’s welcoming love and
rejoice that there is a place for us here.
L: Come, all who are blind but long to
see, all who stumble in the dark but yearn for light.
P: We are glad for this time of healing and
refreshment, this hour of celebration and new possibilities.

UNISON PRAYER OF CONFESSION
God of Light and Life, we are all born blind. We
look upon the world with eyes of greed and anxious self-defense, deceiving
ourselves into believing that we can see. Help us to recognize our blindness
and to ask for your healing touch. Restore our vision, that we may see the
world with the compassionate eyes of Christ. Amen.

OF CONSECRATION (in unison)
O
Lord, open my eyes that I may see the needs of others; open my ears that I may
hear their cries; open my heart so that they need not be without succor; let me
not be afraid to defend the weak because of the anger of the strong, nor afraid
to defend the poor because of the anger of the rich. Show me where love and hope and faith are
needed, and use me to bring them to those places. And so open my eyes and my ears that I may
this coming day be able to do some work of peace for thee. Amen.

The Krafty Kids group has made beautiful Easter wreaths to take to our
shut-in members and church friends.
Debbie Ostema is looking for persons willing to help deliver one or more
in time for Easter. This is a wonderful
activity to do with your kids. Please
see Debbie if you can help.
The ACTS OF KINDNESS TREE is in
Fellowship Hall. You are reminded to take a heart and write on it an
act of graciousness that you have seen or experienced. Take a look at the tree often to see the
various “kindnesses.”
