UNISON
PRAYER OF CONFESSION
On the
shores of our lives, O God, you beckon us to follow you. You invite us to leave our comfortable boats
and journey in mission with you.
Yet we
hear your call differently. Some of us
are too busy to really listen to you.
Some of us want a different assignment, we can’t believe that you would
ask this of us. Some of us think we are
not worthy, have nothing to offer. Some
of us are not ready to risk following you.
We are not trusting.
On the
shores of our lives, you beckon and call; if we follow, we may not know
success, but we will surely know great love and peace in the arms of God. Let us be courageous enough to say. “Here I am, send me.” Amen.

OF DEDICATION (In Unison)
For
every gift we have received including the gift of faith, we give you

we give thanks. Not as we ought, but as
we are able, O God, we return. Grant us
faith and confidence in things both large and small, and open our hearts to
what it means to be generous. Amen.

family.
Members
of the congregation have inquired about sharing in a gift in memory of David
Schutte, Marianne’s husband. If you

your offering envelope. Our collective

of October.

Also, the crafts are delivered in our Advent Bags to our shut-ins by the

tables? Do you have a craft idea that you would like to share with the children
of our church? Any materials or supplies
used will be reimbursed.
