*CALL TO WORSHIP

Leader:                        Overwhelm us, O God.

All:                              Lift us from the ordinary, and overwhelm us with the wonder of this day.

Leader:                        Let our pulse quicken and our spirits soar,

All:                              Overwhelm us with a hope that springs out of darkness,

Leader:                        With a light that sparkles through all the brokenness,

All:                              With peace that lasts beyond an instant and washes away worry,

Leader:                        With a glimpse of world harmony and our role in it’s shaping,

All:                              With joy that sets voices singing and our feet to tapping,

Leader:                        Overwhelm us O God,

All:                              And lift us to the heights of praise!  Amen.

Check Out Our Vision Wall Today!

Offer your input to our current Vision Question;  Leading persons to commit their lives to God is the third action point in our mission to make disciples of Jesus Christ.

How do you think we can accomplish that in today’s world?

A number of events are being planned for the Anniversary of 9/11. Beginning with a youth focused service in the park at 8 am, moving to honoring fire, police, rescue, disaster & military (active & veterans) personnel at noon; and a Service of Memory and Hope at 7:00 pm. at St. Ann Catholic Church.  The day and week is full of opportunities for service in our area and beyond.

The Education Committee is looking for 12 individuals to help provide a Christian education for youth in our Sunday School.  You are invited to become one of the 12.  An awesome task?  Yes.  A serious responsibility?  Certainly.  An inspiring and joyful part of fulfilling God’s plan?  Yes!

Please prayerfully consider whether God might be calling you to be part of this special ministry within our church.
