ENTRANCE OF THE LIGHT OF CHRIST By

*CALL TO WORSHIP
Leader: Spirit of the Living God, fall afresh on us. As we gather in this place, allow your spirit to fill our very being.
People: As we worship today, we remember our brothers and sisters who are worshiping elsewhere throughout the world. Inspire each of us to work more faithfully for justice and dignity of life everywhere.
Leader: Raise our vision above the barriers of color, culture, and creed that separate us. Give us wisdom as we work with one another; help us to teach your truth with love and respect.
People: In the spirit of Jesus who came not to be served but to serve, we now must walk in the world, we now must reach out our hands with help and open our hearts in love. Awake in us the desire to seek your way of serving you in the world.
Leader: Come, people of God, rejoice!
People: Come, let us worship together.

SILENT REFLECTION
UNISON PRAYER
Wonderful, amazing God, we gather as those who have caught a glimpse of the glory and the goodness you intend for your creation. The vision you give us makes us ever restless in this world, as we yearn for your fuller revelation in time and history.
Free
us, and our world, from all bondage to sin and futility; make us your true
daughters and sons, through the creative power of your Holy Spirit, at work
within us. Then send us out in Christ’s
name as heralds of your peace. In the
name of the one who is with us always. Amen.

Vision Wall Is Changing!
Check
out the Vision Wall this morning on your way to coffee after the service. Be
sure to answer the question posted using the answer cards located at the
wall. This week our question is:
“Where
does renewal need to happen in our church?
i.e. How
can we affirm our spirit and rekindle the fire in our souls to reach out into
the world in the name of Christ and make disciples?
Your Vision Team would like to know what You think.
