PRAYER HYMN #2215
“Cares
Chorus”
UNISON PRAYER OF CONFESSION AND PARDON
Our memories are short, Eternal God and we need your
nudges to remember your blessings. We
get caught up in the worries and wrinkles of living and lose sight of your
abiding presence. The urgent and the necessary crowd out playful thanksgiving
and heartfelt gratitude. We are polite,
but distant. We have manners but lack
feeling behind the words.
Forgive us, faithful God, for outward obedience and
inner resistance. Let your light brighten our way, your peace ease our anxious
moments, your love heals our troubled minds and world, your joy kindles our
memory and hope. Hear our prayer in Jesus' name. Amen.

*PRAYER OF DEDICATION
(In Unison)
Most merciful and gracious God, the good that we do we
owe to your righteousness. Whatever

with care. We now bring our gifts in

we seek to obey. Amen.
