UNISON PRAYER

In the name of Jesus Christ who came to serve and to give life itself for us, we have come to worship.  We live in different times but in the same world in which Jesus ate and drank, lived and died.  We share the same baptism and have the same opportunity to know your love and serve you.  Help us dare to believe, trust and live our days returning your love through the neighbors near and far who need to know your care.  Amen.

40 Days of Purpose Prayer Focus: MISSION

˜        Pray for God’s Great Commission to be proclaimed and fulfilled powerfully through the 40 Days of Purpose .

˜        Pray that our church will be inspired to work hard to reach out to our community with the Good News and that people would do their part to fulfill the Great Commission in their generation.

And God has given us the privilege of urging everyone to come into His favor and be reconciled to Him. This is the wonderful message He has given us to tell others.  We are Christ’s ambassadors.   2 Corinthians 5:18- 20

A great big “Thank You” to everyone who helped with the 2003 Holiday Bazaar.  We took in $9,133.02!  Expenses have not been figured yet.  We will let everyone know the final total soon.  A special thank you to Patty Wallenstein for all the afghans, quilts and crafts that she made.  Also to Bonnie Stephan for her help including letting us use the store window to advertise and show our Christmas ornaments and quilts.  She also helped Judy Coffey get the Shoe Shoppe set up.  They did very well for a first year and will need more shoes next year especially men’s and children’s shoes.  We had a very nice Bazaar and thank all who made it possible!!
