BRINGING IN THE LIGHT OF CHRIST

WELCOME AND PARISH NOTES

*CALL TO WORSHIP

Leader:   We are a people of the water!

People: We worship a God whose love flows through water.

Leader:   Love, like a rain shower, awakens the sleeping seed within the soul and lures it to blossom.

People: We worship a God whose love flows through water.

Leader:   Love, like new fallen snow, inspires the delight of children, making snow angels, shivering with cold, wet joy.

People: We worship a God whose love flows through water.

Leader:   Love, like a hot shower after a long day’s work, cleanses us, reawakens us.

People: We worship a God whose love flows through water.

Leader:   Love, like little drops, drips from fingertips to forehead

Through baptism, the family of faith always makes room for one more.   Sing chorus.

                                            Tree of Kindness

Has someone done something special for you?  Have you done something special for someone else?  Let’s share these acts of kindness by filling out a card and hanging it on our tree.  Please do not include any names. This will allow all of us to enjoy each others’ good fortunes.  It may even entice us to do something nice for someone else.          Church & Society Committee

We are always looking for a few more good voices.  Some of the members of the Chancel Choir leave for a time during the winter.  Perhaps, you have wanted to sing but only can for a “season.”  This is the time to join us.  Practice is Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in the sanctuary.
