Joy in the face of uncertainty.

            Amen.

If you have a prayer joy or concern to be shared, please fill out

a prayer card and hand it to an usher during the Prayer Hymn.

UNISON PRAYER OF CONFESSION

O God, where is the stillness and the silent night? We long to be ready for your coming, but we are pinched by time, badgered by ads, hounded by guilt. As the nights grow longer, our patience grows shorter. Teach us, holy God, the way to wait.  Ready our hearts to receive you.  Still our anxious worry, and let us see clearly what can be accomplished in the precious minutes that are really a gift from you. Hover near us and speak of eternal hope, a lasting peace and a deep joy.  Amen.
