REFLECTIVE MOMENTS

UNISON PRAYER OF CONFESSION

God of justice and righteousness, forgive us from our complacency about our lives and the world in which we live.  Drive out from us careless sin.  Make us sensitive to all that is sacred; shock us with awareness of any violation of human life in which we participate.  May our standard be your Spirit and not the way of this world, through the grace of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

The Dead Sea Scrolls Exhibit trip has been scheduled for Saturday, April 5.  This is a once in a lifetime opportunity.  We will be leaving the church as a group around 8:00 a.m..   We will be visiting the Planetarium as part of the tour; lunch will be on your own in the Museum and then, we will tour the Exhibit.  Tickets are $14.50.  We still have 14 slots open for your reservation.  Please see Judy or call her at 775-5362 to reserve your place.

The Chancel Choir could use some additional voices.  Some of our regular members will be away for a few weeks during Lent.  Practice is Wednesday evening at 7:30 p.m. in the sanctuary.  Come, join us for a season; we would love to have you.  Need additional information, call Walt Stump, Director.

You still have time to join one of the Lenten Study groups.  Five different times are available.  Please see Judy Coffey today so that we may know who needs a book.  Remember, if you are unable to attend all the sessions that is fine.  Come, share and grow during this season of Lent as we prepare our hearts and minds for celebrating Jesus’ resurrection on Easter Sunday.
