*CALL TO WORSHIP
Leader: Jesus
has sown the Word of God’s kingdom in the world.
People; We have
heard your Word, Sower of Truth.
Let
it grow in our hearts.
Leader: Many
who hear the Word never bear fruit.
People: Heavenly
Sower, let us go beyond hearing.
Give
us understanding, depth and single-mindedness,
So that
our lives bear the fruit that gives you joy.

please fill out

Prayer Hymn.
UNISON PRAYER
Gracious God, Jesus sowed your seeds of love and
grace. Through the power of your Holy
Spirit, weed out the things in our lives which choke out your Word. Transform
the hardness of our hearts, to nurture the seed that falls upon them, that we
may become the good earth, yielding the fruits of your Word as we fulfill your
purposes for our lives. In Christ's name
we pray. Amen.

Quite often when the church has a funeral luncheon or other function,
we are left with many extra serving dishes and pans. If some of yours are missing, please check in
the kitchen.
Can you fill a Blessing Bag for a needy
Cadillac family? Our church is working
with the Salvation Army to collect non-perishable food items to be distributed
by Thanksgiving Day. If you or your
family would like to participate, there are still “Blessing Bags” available
(complete with a grocery list) in the fellowship hall. Make sure and return your filled bag to the
church by November 19 so that it can be delivered on time. If you would like to help transport the bags
to the Salvation Army on November 19, please see or call (775-5362) Debbie
Ostema.
Biblical Pacifism - A Quaker Perspective presented by Donald Ruswick and sponsored by the
