If you have a prayer joy or concern to be shared, please fill out

PRAYER OF CONFESSION (in unison)

Loving God, Searcher of Hearts, you know the longings we have for a community of love and trust. Yet we confess that we sabotage our own best interests: a silent sulk when our needs aren't guessed, a truth about ourselves held back by fear of non_acceptance, a persistent doubting of our gifts, a false denial of our power and worth.

O Light and Comfort, dispel our false humility and our foolish pride.  Make your light shine through us, igniting the possibility of truth, joy and peace in  community.  Give us the grace to fashion true community and to let your healing flow. In Jesus' name.  Amen.

Our friend and fellow member, Jarvis Kraatz, will be leaving the area in early July to make his home in the San Antonio area.  We want to share some time with him and say “goodbye.”  You are invited to have lunch with Jarvis on Tuesday, July 1 at Noon at the Hillcrest Restaurant.  If you are planning to come, please tell Judy Coffey so that enough seats can be reserved.  See you there!!

An elderly, visually-impaired woman in the community is seeking a live-in caretaker.  Her current one has been with her seven years but needs to leave in order to help her own family.  Tasks would include light housekeeping, meals and companionship.  Room and board plus a stipend are offered.  Call Eileen McKenna at 775-5267.
