WELCOME AND PARISH NOTES
CLIP BOARD MINISTRY FOR NOVEMBER
*CALL TO WORSHIP
Leader: Throughout God’s world this
day Christian churches are celebrating the Eucharist as one family dining
together in one room under one roof.
People: Our sisters and brothers
in Quanzhou, Budapest, Bagdad, Athens and in all lands and countries join us in
lifting the bread of life and the cup of salvation.
Leader: Neither powers nor
principalities shall stop us nor deter our purpose, our sens of mission or our
chal;lenge to go forth as disciples into every town, village and crossroad
proclaiming the love of Christ for all creation.
People: In Christ’s love there is
no East, no West, no North, no South, but only one Spirit of hope, love and
peace for all
Leader: Let us praise Christ! May this holy meal empower each of us to be
agents of hope and peace in a time of uncertainty and strife.
People: The bread and wine are not
for us alone, but are symbols of a universal message that surpasses the might
of injustice and the walls of oppression.
Leader: May Christ bless the
worldwide communion of the church this day.
Amen.

UNISON PRAYER OF CONFESSION
Redeeming God, you bring life out
of dead ends and hope in the midst of despair. Forgive us for doubting that you
are still at work even in the darkest hour, even in the most painful moments.
Forgive us for our cautious compassion and our too‑frequent reluctance.
Redeeming God, teach us a stillness
that leads to acts of kindness and clarity of vision. Shape in us a trust that
leads to faithful witness and bold compassion. Form us in your love that
loosens our worry Make us true
disciples, filled with love, acting with justice and living out hope. Amen.
