PRAYER HYMN #2196
“We Walk By Faith”
UNISON PRAYER
God of Abraham and Sarah, God of Jesus Christ, God
of our mother and father, you are a God who acts with faithfulness in
history. Yet we confess that we are too
busy with our won loves to perceive you at work in our time. We fall into fear and despair about our
troubled world, as if you had no care for us.
Forgive our lack of faith and help us to join you as you labor to bring
new life on earth; in the name of Jesus Christ, we prayer. Amen.

Does anyone know the
location of the “Singer” portable sewing machine that belongs to the
United Methodist Women?? It is one of
the favorites and used often at workshops.
If you have it, would you please return it to the church ASAP. Thanks!

Reformed Church, next door to us, will be hosting a Financial Peace

Friendship Family Home
invites everyone to an Ice Cream Social on Sunday, August 22 from 2 to 4
pm. Tour the home and meet residents and
caregivers. The home is located at 215
Hughston Street in McBain across from Autumnwood.
Two Small Prayer Groups meet each week:
Tuesday at 7:15 am and noon
Thursdays. Join as your schedule
allows. See Bedonna Davis or Debbie
Ostema with questions or prayer requests.
The Staff-Parish
Relations Committee is seeking a permanent substitute Nursery Care Giver

Sermontime for August
During our 10:00 worship
service, we invite interested Kindergarten through 3rd graders to enjoy their
own special time. This month, we will be
learning about “The Miracles of Jesus.”
If your child would like to be part of this program, just have them
follow the rest of the children after Time With the Children. The Sermontime leader will lead them to the
fun. After worship, you may pick your
child up in the Kindergarten -1st Grade Sunday School classroom.
Your grocery
receipts from Carter’s Food Stores in Cadillac or Lake City may still be
turned in at the church to obtain funds used for projects by the United
Methodist Women. A box for them is
located in Fellowship Hall.
Please note the church
has hearing assistance devices for use during worship. These can be used by persons with or without
hearing aids. Also available are LARGE
PRINT HYMNALS and LARGE PRINT BULLETINS.
Check out our church
Website – take a peek at www.umccadillac.org. Lots of good information and many

address off the site. The Sunday
bulletin is also posted.
