UNISON PRAYER
We have many things to be thankful for, God, and
sometimes we remember them and at times we forget. When something large or
small goes wrong, it fills our mind. And we forget those things that you have
showered upon us.
So God, we thank you for the birds that sing and
the family that we love.
We ask you to shower blessings on every sick and
needy person, and free us from the bondage of fear.
God, we especially pray for all of your people who
are using their gifts for others.
Help us to remember the good things, God. To name them, to savor them, and to be thankful to you.
Amen.
Joseph Gathia, 2001
