“Morning Has Broken” Arr. Gilbert M. Martin
*CALL TO WORSHIP
Leader: This morning light has broken through the
darkness
of the night once again.
People: In
such a manner God’s light and word breaks into our
lives.
Leader: God breaks through all the confusion, doubt and
loneliness which absorb us at times.
God’s light shines on us and reveals all that is within us and within
God’s creation.
People: We are promised this continue in-breaking of
the Spirit. The Spirit breaks in on us
today with the glad news: Today is God’s day.
All: In this day we delight in praising the God
who loves us. All praises for God’s re-creation of this new day.

UNISON PRAYER
Master, loving God, quiet us and draw us near.
Help us to keep faithful in little things. When the task is small that no one will
notice our work, may we still do your bidding.
When a smile, a touch, a word could bring the sunshine of your love to
someone’s life, shine through us. Help
us to be worthy of your trust in us; through the grace of Jesus Christ. Amen.
