PRAYER HYMN                                                                               #2188

“Family Prayer Song”

UNISON PRAYER

God of truth, we come longing for the peace that only you can provide. We seem so often to be tossed to and fro, blown about by every wind except that of your own Holy Spirit. Be pleased to dwell here this day, to receive our worship and our praise. Linger long, and speak the truth to us in love, that we may come to the unity of faith and to the knowledge of the full stature of Christ, in whose name we pray. Amen.

Looking to know others in our congregation?  Please participate in our “Let’s Get Together” times.  In today’s service, you will be able to fill out a card which will be put in a basket.  Then, the baskets will be passed back through the congregation so that you might pick out a card.  You will have the opportunity to meet/eat with two different families.  You could meet for any meal at a home. restaurant or park, gather for dessert and conversation or share over coffee.  You make plans which suit the schedules of the persons involved.  We would hope these times together would be completed by Labor Day.

All are invited and welcome to participate. Plan now to share in these “together times” and get to better know some wonderful people.
