What a Savior”
UNISON PRAYER
O Christ, you are the king of the
ages, reigning in majesty and glory; enthroned in human hearts where you rule
in gentleness and love. Until that day
when all the earth is filled with your glory and all flesh shall see it
together we pray with hope for the consummation of your kingdom. O Christ, you reign in our hearts with grace
and power. Come, reign over the world,
that your healing light may illumine the farthest reaches of the universe as it
enlightens our souls. In joy, we praise
you, Christ our Lord. Amen.

If you would like to
sing in the Community Church Choir for the Thanksgiving Eve Service
on Wednesday November 24, please come at 6:30 p.m. for the rehearsal in the
sanctuary at St. Ann Church. All voices
are welcome!
The Community
Thanksgiving Eve Service will be on Wednesday, November 24 at 7:30 p.m.,
at St. Ann Church on Thirteenth Street in Cadillac. The Rev. Paul Tomlinson, pastor of the First
Presbyterian Church, will be the speaker.
The service will include music by two choirs: St. Ann’ Mixed Parts Choir
and the Community Church Choir. A
monetary offering will be received for the Workplace Chaplains and the
Shepherd’s Table. An offering of
non-perishable food will be received for the King’s Storehouse Food
Pantry. This is always a wonderful time
of worship designed with families in mind.
Come and worship. All are
welcome.
You may still give to
the Tools of Hope which includes the Blanket Ministry. From tents, blankets, and other emergency
supplies for survivors of the earthquake that devastated Bam, Iran, to
emergency food rations, blankets, candles and matches and plastic sheeting in
the wake of monsoon flooding in parts of India, shelter needs come in all
shapes and sizes. A warm blanket costs
just $5 but can make a big difference between health and sickness.
Needing a Thanksgiving
gift for a loved one?? Give a gift to the
Tools of Hope and Blanket project. We
will provide a card for gift giving.
Cards will be available on the table in the Narthex.
Special Notice • Caution
Twice in the last year,
we have experienced damage to underground electrical wiring that was difficult
to locate and costly to repair; the second time was early in November. We also have underground water lines to our
sprinkling system. To all individuals
and committees: Please contact someone from the Trustees
before doing ANYTHING that breaks the surface of the
ground, so that future damage can be prevented.
Thank you from the Trustees.
