UNISON PRAYER

O God of the weeping Christ, you know the heartache of your children.  You know the emptiness that death brings.  You know the hopelessness of being alone.  You know the futility of life with no meaning.  As you gave life to Lazarus, so, too, remove the grave clothes of self-indulgence, self-importance and self-satisfaction from us.  Help us to know the joy of your resurrection victory, the energizing power of your daily presence and the peace that comes from doing your will.  Amen.

*PRAYER OF DEDICATION   (In unison)

Bring life, O God, to the program and mission of this church, which we support through out tithes and offerings.  May our giving bring life, hope and resurrection.  As Christ sacrificed life for us, so may each of us commit ourselves to carrying forward the work to which we are called in our own day.  Bless us and all the gifts we bring.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.

A Request From Our Kids . . .

Our children in the 5th/6th grade Sunday School want to sing and would like to know if there is anyone in the congregation willing to lead a Children’s Choir.  If you enjoy children, like to lead upbeat children’s music and a praise chorus, and would like to try this opportunity, speak with Debbie Ostema.  There are many great accompaniment CD’s available so playing an instrument is optional.
