Are My Hiding Place”
UNISON PRAYER
We lift up our eyes to you,
gracious and abundant God. We praise you for your goodness and mercy. Show us your vision of life everlasting. Remove any veil of sin and brokenness that
would prevent our seeing clearly the world that you imagine for us. In this hour of worship, meet us where we
are, and guide us to where you would have us to be. In Jesus’ name.
Amen.

which disaster you are responding to and place it in the offering plate. Thank you for your generous response.
“Step by Step”
Stewardship Campaign. The Finance
Committee thanks all who have participated by submitting their Estimate of
Giving Cards for 2006. As of
November 8, we had received 141 cards.
We still have a significant number of cards that are still out
there. Please help our church leaders
plan for 2006 submitting an estimate of giving card as soon as
possible. Cards are still available in
the church pews and at the church office.
To date, we have received pledges for the regular church budget of
$198,249 and $22,675 for the Capital Improvement Fund. We also thank all of you that have stepped
forward and agreed to serve on committees for 2006. The
Finance Committee
United Methodist Men will be meeting at 6:00 p.m. on
November 17 (note date change) at the church.
Following our always outstanding Potluck and a business meeting, we will
see (on the eve of the game), a video “The History of U of M vs Ohio State”.
Paul, Ron and Don are hosts for the evening.
Just a reminder that Blessing
Bags are due this Friday, November 18, and Operation Christmas Child
