*PROCESSIONAL HYMN #280
“All
Glory, Laud and Honor”
*CALL TO WORSHIP
One: Rejoice greatly, O daughter Zion! Shout
aloud, O daughter Jerusalem! Lo, your
king comes to you.
All: Ride on, King Jesus, no one can hinder
you!
One: Lo, your king comes to you; triumphant and
victorious is he, humble and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a
donkey.
All: Ride on, King Jesus, no one can hinder
you!
One: See the crowd coming into the city!
Join the glad procession with songs
of praise.
All: Ride on, King Jesus, no one can hinder
you!
One: We come, lifting our palm branches shouting,
"Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the
Lord! Hosanna in the highest heaven!"
All: Ride on, King Jesus, no one can hinder
you!
One: On this holy day, we come with lifted hands,
waving palms, and raised voices to proclaim that you are the King of Kings and
the Lord of Lords!
All: Ride on, King Jesus, no one can hinder
you!

UNISON PRAYER
Eternal and Everloving
God,
All over this world we, your
children,
Are waving palm branches.
The palm is to help us remember a
parade,
A procession into Jerusalem two
thousand years ago,
And a lonely leader who rejected
fame and wealth
To finish a painful job that he had
already begun.
Help us to keep our own priorities
in order:
Not to get sidetracked by more
money,
Or power, or things that crowds
admire.
Help us to know our jobs and do
them
Like your son Jesus did, so that
we, too, may become bearers of the love of Jesus poured out for the world. Amen.

Gifts, clothes strewn in his path,
a carpet of palm branches, tokens of loyalty, tokens of enthusiasm -- these
gifts, tokens of thanksgiving and commitment, instruments of compassion and
service. As you blessed your Holy One, O
God, bless these gifts now, for they are given in honor and remembrance of
Jesus. Amen.

A Request From
Our Kids .
. .
Our children in the 5th/6th grade
Sunday School want to sing and would like to know if there is anyone in the
congregation willing to lead a Children’s Choir. If you enjoy children, like to lead upbeat
children’s music and a praise chorus, and would like to try this opportunity,
speak with Debbie Ostema. There are many great accompaniment CD’s
available so playing an instrument is optional.
