If you have a prayer joy or concern
you would like shared during the Prayer of the People, please hand it to an
usher during the Prayer Hymn.
PRAYER HYMN #2167
“More
Like You”
UNISON PRAYER OF CONFESSION
You were the faithful God of Hagar, Sarah, and Abraham and
you have guided your people from
generation to generation,
Yet we
confess that we laugh at your promises and we ignore the stirrings of your
Spirit. When you act, bringing new life,
we smile with surprise.
Accept us in our unbelief
And continue to fulfill your
promise in us,Through
Christ, in whom we find true life. Amen.
