THE
GATHERING TO WORSHIP
PRELUDE
BRINGING IN THE LIGHT OF CHRIST
WELCOME AND PARISH NOTES
*CALL TO WORSHIP Based on Psalm 90 - The Prayer of
Moses
One: God
has been our dwelling place in all generations.
Before the mountains were raised up,
before the universe was even formed,
God has been there for us.
All: So let us live in the Lord,
rooted and established in the faith of Christ,
and abounding in thanksgiving.
One: Love God, love your neighbor.
All the laws of Moses,
and all the teaching of the prophets,
hang on these two commandments.
All: May the grace of God be upon us,
establishing whatever is loving in the work of our
hands.
Yes, let God establish all that is loving in the
work
of our hands.

Like You”
UNISON PRAYER
Gracious God, you have given
vitality to the church by letting your Spirit flow through its word, work and
worship. You have made us a servant
people, a holy household, a family of faith.
You have called us to be active as the body of Christ in this world.
Keep us fit as a body of persons in
service to others.
Keep us healthy as a body of
persons striving toward holy living.
Keep us strong as a body of persons
desiring to develop in faith.
Help us, we pray, truly to be your
church, the body of Christ, in this world.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Community Food Pantry, Shepherd’s Table, Manton Food Pantry, Mesick Food Pantry
and the Salvation Army.
