*CALL TO WORSHIP
One: Something deep inside us
calls us,
All: Beckons us.
One: We are looking for truth
All: That anchors us in the midst
of competing voices.
One: We are searching for life
All: That sparkles with joy
and glows with warmth.
One: We are finding our way
All: To Christ, to
community, to love.
One: And we are bold to sing
All: A resurrection song.

“Hymn
of Promise”
UNISON PRAYER
Light in darkness, Life out of
death, Creator of unity, we rejoice in the triumphs of your love and
grace. Out of darkness and doubt and
distress, you bring us to light and certainty and peace.
Out of
mortality and fear of death and unbelief, you lead us to trust and hope and
eternal life.
Out of scatteredness and
shapelessness, you make us into a people, a worshiping community and a center
for service; through Jesus our Risen Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

are cordially invited to join Professor David Terrell of Northwestern Michigan
College in a Spring Lecture Series for an educational journey back to the first
days of Christianity. This

help with planning if you would call the First Congregational Church (775-7632) if
you plan to attend. Cost for the day,
including lunch is $15.
If your church group is planning to meet and has special set-up needs, please communicate that to custodian, Dee Piltz, by placing the request in her church office mail box. Plan to notify Dee well enough in advance so she can schedule a set up time. Thank you.
