Leader: We are here

human family.
Leader: But
the call is also God’s promise:
People: A promise of forgiveness
of sins and fullness of grace, courage in the struggle for justice and peace,
and eternal life in that realm which has no end.
Leader: Blessing
and honor and glory and power be unto God!

PRAYER HYMN #2162
“Grace
Alone”
UNISON PRAYER
God of abundant mercy, we turn to
you for water for all your thirsting children.
We come seeking your hospitality, that we may be equipped to welcome
others. We reach for those high
standards of commitment which you call forth, that our loyalties may not be
misplaced. Keep us from easy assurances
that would lure us from the challenges of faithful living. Amen.

Offering will go to the Appalachia Service Project (ASP.) ASP is a grass roots ministry that repairs
homes in America’s most destitute area.
ASP has a back to basics earthy style, as well as a desire to accept
people how they are and where they are.
ASP makes the most of every dollar
or donation. They give as much to their
communities as humanly possible, operate with a very small
paid staff and a generous amount of unpaid volunteers who desire to serve the
Lord in helping others. Opulence is not
their style. For additional information
their web site is www.asphome.org.
We also will be receiving non-perishable
food products and paper products on July 3.
Craft Leader, Helen Quinn needs your stuff for Vacation Bible School. Needed: aluminum pie pans-new or used, bandanas (any color or age) & small Pringles or peanut cans. Put your donations in the box by the VBS information area in the Fellowship Hall.
