GATHERING TO WORSHIP
PRELUDE
BRINGING IN THE LIGHT OF CHRIST
WELCOME AND PARISH NOTES
*CALL TO WORSHIP
Leader: For
all the saints, O God, who from their labors rest,
People: We
glorify your name!
Leader: Vast
has been the number of your saints, some
famous, most of them unrecorded, except in your
Book of Life.
People: From
every people and nation, from every race and
tongue, you have gathered them into your kingdom.
Leader: They
were human, surely, but with the aid of your
Spirit, they wrought great deeds of mercy and
offered eloquent witness to your power and love.
People: We
dedicate this service to the celebration of their witness and of their deeds.
Leader: For
all your saints, O God, and especially for those
who loved and served you within the fellowship of
this congregation,
All: We
magnify your holy name! Amen.

PRAYER HYMN #2283
“For
All the Saints”
UNISON PRAYER
Most loving God, you have given us
a great multitude of witnesses whose lives have testified to the amazing power
of your Son's resurrection. By your
presence among us, teach us the truth of life everlasting. Through this day for remembrance of those who
have gone before us, grant us inspiration to run with perseverance the race
that is set before us. Keep us on the
way of truth until we, too, join in endless celebration with all your saints in
splendor. In the name of Christ our
Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, now and forever. Amen.
