CLIP BOARD MINISTRY FOR NOVEMBER
STEP UP & MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN
THE LIFE OF THE CHURCH
*ENTRY INTO CELEBRATION
One: Throughout God’s world this day Christian
churches are celebration the Eucharist as one family
dining together in one room under one roof.
All: This very
day, this very hour from Quanzhou to
our brothers and sisters join us in lifting the bread of
life
and the cup of salvation.
One: Neither powers
nor principalities shall stop us nor deter our purpose, our sense of mission,
or our challenge to go forth as disciples into every town, village, and crossroad
proclaiming the love of Christ for all creation.
All: In Christ’s
love there is no East, no West, no North, no South,
but only one Spirit of hope, love and peace for all.
One: Let us praise
Christ! May this holy meal empower each
of us to be agents of hope and peace in a time of uncertainty and strife.
All: The bread
and wine are not for us alone, but are symbols of a universal message that
surpasses the might of injustice and the walls of oppression.
One: May Christ
bless the worldwide communion of the church this day!
All: Praise be to God the giver of this
bountiful feast! Amen!

UNISON PRAYER OF CONFESSION
Holy God, we do live in the joy and
wonder of your love. However, we find it so easy to be in disagreement. We take each other for granted. So often we are tempted to cut the ropes of
love that bind us together. We tend to
turn away from those with whom we have disagreements. Help us, Lord, here today in this time of
remembrance and celebration to start fresh and new, filled with your holy and
redeeming love. Amen.
