UNISON PRAYER OF CONFESSION
God of our sabbath times, from whose presence we can never hide and
whose purposes are always beyond our understanding, we confess that we do not
always use our sabbath time for renewal and
rest. Teach us, we pray, to use our sabbath times in ways that are
pleasing to you and helpful to others.
May we be instruments of healing, not instigators of division. Make us bearers of your life-giving good
news. Fill us with hope that we may
share with the world, in Jesus’ name.
Amen.
