Our Loose Plate Offering today will go to the in the five county Meals On Wheels program which includes Wexford County.  They deliver 1800 meals daily. Their funding structure has been 40% to 50% from public and private donations and the balance from government grants. However, the government grants have been pretty much frozen while rising fuel and food prices have eroded their ability to serve those in need.   In some areas, they have only been able to provide frozen meals due to the rising costs. Your generosity will help seniors to be able to remain in their own homes and to be adequately nourished.

The non-perishable food products and paper products collected today will go to the Kings Storehouse Food Pantry at First Baptist Church.

The 2006 Flower Calendar is available in the church narthex this morning.  We still have spaces available during March and other months.  You may place flowers in the chancel in honor or memory of a person or occasion or to the glory of God.  Our flowers are supplied by Janis’ Flowers.  The cost is $15.  Sign-up now to get your desired Sunday for flowers.
