UNISON PRAYER OF CONFESSION
Lord Jesus, you met Philip and
Nathanael on the road and said "Follow me" - and they did. We confess that we do not expect to meet you
on the familiar roads we travel and so we fail to discern your presence or your
call on our lives.
Holy Spirit, you empower us to
recognize and to respond to the invitation of Jesus to follow him, even when
that means traveling on unknown and unfamiliar paths.
Merciful God, take from us all that
hinders our hearing your voice and fill us anew with the Holy Spirit that we
may joyfully respond to Jesus' call on our lives. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen .

credit the gift. If you notice a gift record missing from your statement,
contact me as soon as possible with the date, amount & check number so I
can correct your record and get a updated statement to
you. Thanks, Dan Kinney

Callling the Administrative
Council, Committee Chairpersons & Members, Work Areas and Leaders In The Life Of The Church: a Vision Planning Session
is scheduled for Tuesday, January 24 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:15 pm.
Last January, we met to evaluate
how we had progressed in moving our church forward toward our vision over the
previous two years and to update our action plan for the next two years. We had a successful session. During that planning, we identified 12
focus items that should be given special attention. This year we will be spending our time
identifying specific actions around those focus items to make them happen. It is important that as many of our committee
members, members of Administrative Council, and other
leaders in the life of our church participate in this planning session. So please set Tuesday, January 24 aside for
vision action planning.
At the end of the group planning
sessions, we should have captured everyone’s thoughts on what needs to happen
and have identified the right people to make them happen for those focus items
selected for the session. Your Vision Team

The proof book was examined and returned during the week following
Christmas. We are hoping to have the new
Directories here by late January or early February. If you were photographed for the Directory, submitted
a picture or had your picture taken by Judy, you will receive a directory. When they arrive, your copy will be labeled
and available for pick-up in Fellowship Hall.
If you are heading south and would like it mailed to you, please leave a
note in the Church Office or call the office at 775-5362.
COMING UP - On Super Bowl Sunday,
February 5, we will be celebrating Souper Bowl Sunday. This is a time for a special giving of a can

Watch for an opportunity to support our Youth and to help those in need
in our community.
