THE PEOPLE OF GOD PRAYING
If
you have a prayer joy or concern you would like shared during the Prayer of the
People, please hand it to an usher during the Prayer Song.
PRAYER HYMN #2202
“Come
Away With Me”
UNISON PRAYER
In this sanctuary set aside for
your worship, we pause to contemplate your greatness, O God. Out of the thick clouds that lime our vision,
we hear you whisper our names and call us into community. The mountains and the seas tremble before
you; all living things announce your presence.
You claim us as your own and quip us to be holy people. Help us to accept that role without misusing
it, that your name may be honored in all we do, and your way be lifted up among
all people. Amen.

Your help is needed for this year’s
Vacation Bible School. Current
needs include: a 3 & 4 year teacher, a preschool teacher (for two days only),
actors and actresses for daily dramas and a photographer. Please check with Clara Handy if you can fill
one of these needs. Most immediately, we
are in need of persons willing to help put up VBS publicity posters. Please speak with Laura Bachman if you can
help with this need.
