PRAYER SONG #2167
“More
Like You”
UNISON PRAYER
Gracious God, the excitement and
joy of this day surrounds us. How long
we have prepared for this hour! Help us
remember that it is not our own doing that brings us here, but only your grace
and love. Your love has surrounded us
from our birth even when we have not seen it.
Your love has been present in your Word and in the words and acts of
others. For this we give you
thanks. Teach us to walk gently in your
path of love, seeking justice, making peace, cherishing the earth and one
another. Enliven our imaginations that
we may see future newness. Embolden us
with your love that we may live now as if the new had already come. In joy, we offer you our praise. Amen.
