PRAYER HYMN #2065
“More Precious Than Silver”
UNISON PRAYER
Jesus, you tell us that the return on giving is a
hundredfold, later in heaven and right here, right now.
We need you right now, not in some other time light years
away. All things are possible with you, Lord, so grant us the grace to give
more than we think we can. In the giving allow us to receive you, Divine Life,
Supreme Gift, Lord of Life and Lover of All of Us. There is no wealth other
than your love. Amen.

Step Up and Make a Difference in
the Life of Our Church: Today is Commitment Sunday
as we offer our commitments to Christ and the Church for our mutual ministry in
2007. Commitment cards are available in
the pews if you need one.
All are invited to join one of the Prayer
Groups. Daybreak group meets at 7:15
a.m. on Tuesdays and the Thursday prayer group meets at 11:30 a.m. Come to either group to find the power and
unity of group prayer.
We will receive new members
into the life of the congregation next Sunday, October 29 at both worship
services. Plan to attend and introduce
yourself to our newest members.
The United Methodist Men
will meet on Thursday, October 26 at 6:00 p.m. for their usual “outstanding”
potluck. Following this feast, a short
business meeting and devotions, there will be a “To Be Announced” program. Jerry Seward is the host. Bring your best Halloween garb, a dish to
share and your own table service, and join us!
