WELCOME AND PARISH NOTES
*CALL TO WORSHIP
One: God's love, strong and true,
All: Beckons us to walk on with hope in each step,
Lures us home, to the place just right.
One: God's love, everlasting and bold,
All: Sustains us when fear closes in and worry overwhelms,
Surprises us with glimpses of wonder and bursts of joy.
One: God's love, gentle yet persistent,
All: Graces us with rest in the midst of busyness,
Hounds us to follow the good path.
One: God's love, forever leading us to sing and pray,
serve and praise.

to the Heart of God”
UNISON PRAYER
Gracious God, our Holy Friend,
remind us each morning that we are trustees of everything we have. Remind us each evening of the grace that can
both bless the day’s achievements and forgive the misuse of your gifts. In success or failure, may we honor you by
the way we accept your discipline and praise you by the loving way we trust
your commandments. Through Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen!

*PRAYER OF DEDICATION (in unison)
God, we thank you that you have
given us your laws so that we may know right from wrong. It is rarely cool to talk about morality, or
even to act morally. But we are grateful
that you lead us to live in ways that fit us for your kingdom. Thank you for giving us a spirit of
generosity and for teaching us to share with those who have less than we
do. May our hearts be increasingly open
to their needs for bread and justice. Thank you for putting your power within us,
so that in us you can accomplish far more than we can ask or imagine. Amen.
