Leader: We await our Savior. We
gather on the mountain and with open eyes behold him.
People: We receive strength to live in the valley.
Leader: God's love is revealed in the face of Christ.
With unveiled faces we behold his
glory.
People: Christ’s splendor is unfading,
the power of his love is undiminished.
Leader: To us the gift of God has been revealed:
God's Son, the Chosen One.
All: We listen and worship,
for Christ is here.

RESPONSIVE PRAYER OF CONFESSION
Christ came bathed in light,
dazzling, radiant¼
Forgive
us, God,
for accepting mediocrity in your name
and calling it good enough.
Christ came appearing with Elijah
and Moses¼
Forgive
us, God,
for demanding exclusive expressions of faith
even in the face of your expansive vision.
Christ came while a voice was
shouting, "this is my Beloved; listen!"
Forgive
us, God,
for silencing the voice of the other
struggling to praise your name. Amen.

On February 24 and 25, the Senior High
Youth participated in a 30 Hour Famine here at our church. This morning the Youth will be available at a
table in the Fellowship Hall for those wishing to sponsor one or more of them
through their 30 hour fast. All money
raised will go to alleviate hunger in our community and world. Please support our youth.
The March gathering of the Wesley
Fellowship will occur on Thursday, March 2 at 6:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome. The evening will begin with a Potluck Supper
(bring a dish to pass and your own table service.) For the program following the meal, Helen
Kitchen with the help of Jane Whitney will be explaining the activities of the
“Red Hat Ladies”. There will be some
costuming involved. The Williams, along
with Frank Weikel and Jane Whitney, will be the
hosts. It should be a good time
for all. Y’all come!
