PRAYER SONG #2216
“When
We Are Called to Sing Your Praise”
UNISON PRAYER
Living God, as we continue our
journey through this season of Lent we are reminded of the steadfast love which
would endure forever through your beloved Son, Jesus Christ. A love given not to judge
but to save, causing human sinfulness to be encountered by divine compassion. No wonder we sometimes see the placard thrust
in front of television cameras with the words written large - "John
3:16". Etch these words about the
depth of your love for us on our hearts and make them visible through our
lives. Accept our praise and
thanksgiving, O God, for this priceless gift, in Christ’s name, we pray. Amen.

Methodist Church. Preparing women for
leadership roles in the home, church and community is a top priority. These extension courses in Bible study,
evangelism, nutrition, politics and health are offered not only to Methodist
women but all women in Bolivia.
You are cordially
invited to the Cadillac Area Lenten Breakfasts each Wednesday during
Lent. This Wednesday, March 29, the
breakfast will be held at the Hillcrest Restaurant. The speaker is Pastor Ed Gilbert from the
Foursquare Lighthouse Church; Ed also serves as the CAMA Chaplain at Mercy
Hospital. The time together includes
breakfast, singing and a meditation beginning at 7:00 a.m. and ending promptly
at 7:50 a.m. so you may be to work on time or on to other business of the
day. Breakfast will cost $3.50; there
will be three breakfast choices. The entire community is invited to
attend. Invite a friend to come – it
could be life changing!
All women are invited

Love INC Need: A 89 year old man
who lives on
You are invited to join
“Grow Group”. The purpose of this
group is to provide a safe place to unveil the secret pain in our lives. We are
here to find our voice, to share our stories, and learn and grow from our
experiences. We will be searching for
truth and wisdom as we seek help from the Great Healer. God created us to heal. He urges us on to find wholeness. This class provides an opportunity for that
to happen. If you are hurting from the wounds of childhood sexual abuse and
would like to join our Grow Group, contact Shirley Peterson 775-6804 or Amy Fite 876-0307. The next 10 week class will begin on April
3. The groups are limited and are
confidential.
Attention!!! Carter’s has discontinued Their Community Cash
program and is no longer accepting your grocery slips.

on Saturday, April 8, Marilynn Hamm, musician, artist and arranger,
returns to share in a Piano Concert at the Cadillac Christian Reformed Church
at 7:00 p.m. There is no charge for the
concert; a free-will offering will be taken.
We are co-sponsoring this event.
She will be here to play at our 11:00 worship service on April 9.
Today is One
Great Hour of Sharing. This
special offering is vital to the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR)
and its humanitarian ministries. Gifts to the One Great Hour of Sharing underwrite
UMCOR’s “costs of doing business,” so that 100% of every dollar you
donate to a specific UMCOR project can be spent on that project and not on
administrative costs. UMCOR receives no
World Service funds or any other apportionments. Through gifts to this
offering, we can assure that when catastrophes cause suffering, our church,
impelled by Jesus’ love and compassion, will be in the
lead to ease the pain. UMCOR brings hope
and aid when a catastrophe strikes.
Camp
