FOR NOVEMBER *GATHERING WORDS One: God calls us together from every nation
and land. Many: Blessed be the God of all the nations. One: Young and old, male and female, rich and
poor, and of
numerous colors, we are here together. Many: Blessed be the God of all earth’s peoples. One: Here now we have gathered together for
worship. Many: Worldwide sharing bread and chalice offered
even for the least. One: We join as one family to worship and to
celebrate in this
Holy Meal. *HYMN OF PRAISE On insert We Come to This Table KREMSER 12.11.12.12
("We Gather Together") We come to this
table, O God, with thanksgiving. We lift up our
hearts, we remember, we pray. We hear Jesus' welcome--
inviting, forgiving; We know your Spirit's
peace as we feast here today. We dine at your table
as sisters and brothers, Diverse in our
cultures, yet nourished as one. The bread and the cup
that we share here with others Are gifts uniting all
who are claimed by your Son. We grieve for your
world here; we cry, "How much
longer?" We pray for the cycles
of violence to cease. Yet here, in Christ
broken, we're fed and made stronger To labor in his name
for a world filled with peace. We rise from this
table with new dedication To feed the world's
children, to free the oppressed, To clear out the
minefields, to care for creation; We pray, O God of
peace, that our work will be blest. *SHARING THE PEACE OF CHRIST PRAYER HYMN #2193 ”Lord, Listen to Your Children
Praying” UNISON PRAYER OF
CONFESSION Open our senses to
your direction, amazing God, so we may be alert to the opportunities you give
us. We confess that often we are
reluctant to share with others about you and your great love. Forgive us and fill us anew with good news
to share with those who seek meaning for their lives. We are here because we need the good news
ourselves for we seek to know you and your Word and to be led by it. As you meet you here today in both Word and
Sacrament, may we be strengthened and renewed. Amen. WORDS OF PROMISE PRAYER OF THE PEOPLE CHILDREN’S TIME SCRIPTURE READING N.T.

is working with a family whose infant is currently in DeVos
Children's Hospital. The child will come home soon with a respirator.
A generator that will use 40 amps is needed to keep the respirator running in
the event of a power outage. If you have one to donate, contact Linda at the
Love INC @ 779-1888. Grand Traverse
District 2007 “Main Event” is scheduled for Saturday, October 13 with

willingness to help with food for funerals. However, we now have a quantity
of bowls, pans, platters, etc. that need to find their way home. Please stop in the kitchen after
services today to pick up your serving container & take it with you. Any
items left at the time of the Bazaar will be sold at the Bazaar. The “Jewelry
Boutique” for the Holiday Bazaar is looking for your donations of used
jewelry. Please drop them off in the
donation box located on the table in the Fellowship Hall; your donations are
needed as soon as possible. Thank you
so much! The Membership
Committee is in need of cassette tape storage boxes for the

volunteers are needed to help tape on Sunday mornings and to deliver some of
the tapes. If you are able to help in
