One: O Holy One, you are our God.

we praise your holy name.
One: For you have done wonderful things —
All: Plans formed of old, faithful and sure.
One: You have been a stronghold to the poor,
All: A stronghold to all in distress.
One: You subdue the noise of violence and hatred,
All: As the shade of a cloud subdues the heat
of the day.
One: O Holy One, you are God.
All: We exalt you and we praise your holy
name.

“Come, Thou Fount” Arr. Craig Courtney
UNISON PRAYER
Lord, we need a
miracle today.
Like Jesus changing
water into wine
at the
wedding feast in
we need a
miracle today.
We are tired, Lord,
of the hurts of this world.
We are discouraged
in the face
of injustice, war, poverty and indifference.
We need a miracle
today, Lord.
Your steadfast
love, like a mighty mountain,
will not be
moved.
Your gifts, as many
as the mighty sands,
cannot be
counted.
Your glory, like a
mighty light,
will not be
put out.
Lord, crown us with
your love.
Show us you glory,
That in you we may
be moved
to acts of
kindness, love, justice and mercy.
Lord, we need a
miracle today. Amen.

Unity Fest this summer. We are looking
for volunteers to provide baskets (ranging in cost from $10-$30) for the Silent
Auction & for help in setting up prior to the 8:30 worship service. If you are interested in donating a basket or
in helping to set-up, please see one of the youth following worship today or
call Debbie Pant .
Blankets Needed: Once again, we have
diminished our blanket supply with donations this past week to O.A.S.I.S. and
D.H.S. Foster Children. A total of 18
blankets were given to help children in our community. If you would like to contribute monetarily
for materials or would like to make some blankets yourself, please see or
contact Jean Stump.
Dorcas Circle will meet for lunch at
11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 13 at Ponderosa. Please contact Helen Quinn or Joyce Seward
for reservations.
WE NEED YOU! The Membership Committee is looking for
additional help in making copies of the Sunday morning worship tapes for our
shut-ins & members unable to attend worship. It only takes about 30 minutes of your time
between Sunday School and the 11:00 a.m. worship
service. Training will be held for those
interested. Please call the church
office 775-5362 or Margaret Himes if you can help in this vital ministry.
