All:       In faith, we seek to follow God in our lives.

All:       In faith, we gather now to worship, knowing that as we reach out to God, God will make us new.  Give us the faith, O God, to go forward and embrace the newness to which you call us.

dress us for action,

and open the doors

of our hearts and minds.

Sustainer God,

renew in us the faith of our ancestors of old,

that we might claim it as our own

in covenant with you.

In Jesus’ name we pray.  Amen.
