UNISON PRAYER

Gracious God,

we gather to sing praises to your name.

Through good time and bad,

through darkness and haze,

you remain with us.

Your faith in us never wavers,

and we pray this day

that you might strengthen our faith.

Give us hearts filled with thanksgiving

for your many blessings.

Tune our very lives,

that we might sing our love for you

each moment of the day.

In Christ’s name we pray.  Amen.

ORGAN OFFERTORY

Your are invited to use the card in your bulletin to list 10 things you are thankful for but often take for granted (clean water, sunlight, freedom to come an go as you choose.)  During this week, add to the cards each day so you will have 20 or more. Then, bring these “thankful” things with you next Sunday.

The cards will be received during the offering, placed

on the Lord’s Table and blessed.  May our reflections help us

to remember that God does bless each of us richly and

that we often forget to say thanks, just like the lepers!

    *DOXOLOGY                                                                                                               #94

Praise God, from whom all blessings flow,

Praise God, all creatures here below:  Alleluia!  Alleluia!

Praise God, the source of all our gifts!

Praise Jesus Christ, whose power uplifts!

Praise the Spirit, Holy Spirit!  Alleluia!  Alleluia!  Alleluia!

    *PRAYER OF CONSECRATION  (in unison)

Nurturing God, you bless us each day.  You show mercy upon us and offer us your unconditional love.  Indeed, we know that you are all around us and in us, as abundant as the air that we breathe. Yet we take your presence for granted so often.  So now we pause to turn back to you and to praise you with this collective act of offering our gifts.  Accept these generous gifts of money and help us to be more observant of your healing presence in this world.  In Jesus' name, we pray.  Amen.
