UNISON PRAYER

Lead us, God of Goodness: lead us into those places where we discover your mercy waiting to nourish and restore our famished souls.

Lead us, Gentle Shepherd: lead us to those places where we have the joyof filling the emptiness of others, because the table you have prepared is to be shared with all. Lead us, Comforting Spirit: lead us on the right paths, and down the streets where we can do justice for all wronged by the world; lead us to the living waters, where we can fill our selves and then empty them for those parched by pain and loss.  Amen.

            Worship Notes

Brother James is the familiar name by which many remember James Leith Macbeth Bain, who was born in Scotland towards the middle of last century and passed away in 1925.  Like St. Francis, he combined the spiritual genius of the Mystic with the irresistible charm and trust of the child who loves all persons and all creatures.  This Air is perhaps the most beautiful of many that came to him spontaneously, and it has, in its simplicity, some of that true quality of appeal that Maurice Baring describes thus: ‘It was a wonderful tune-a tune that opened its arms.’

A Celebration of Ministry and Farewell Brunch will be held for Pastor Dale and his family on Sunday, June 17 during both worship services and at a Brunch immediately following the 10:00 worship service.  Mark your calendar now and make plans to attend.  Additional information will be coming your way in the near future.

SNOWBIRDSRemember to notify the Church Office (775-5362) of your date of return so your address may be changed back in our Data Base.  Your help with this is really appreciated.
