BRINGING IN THE LIGHT OF CHRIST

WELCOME AND PARISH NOTES

*GATHERING WORDS

One:.....We recognize the voice of The Good Shepherd

who walks with us and talks with us.

Many:...We recognize the voice of The Good Shepherd

who is the guardian of our souls.

One:.....We recognize the voice of The Good Shepherd

who leads us in the path of righteousness.

Many:...We recognize the voice of The Good Shepherd

who picks us up from the squalor, brushes us off,

bids us to straighten up and fly right!

One:.....We recognize the voice of The Good Shepherd

who has made it possible for us to have it all,

even when the world thinks we have nothing.

All:......On this day, we come to give thanks for the Good Shepherd and worship the God who leads us and guides us each day. Amen.

Sheep
safe in the sheepfold.
Shepherd guarding the entry.
No marauder will ever harm them now.

loves them.
Calls them each by name.
His voice they know and feel and follow.

Lord,
love us too.
Call us each by name.
Let us hear your voice and follow.

Let your goodness
guard our lives.

Amen.
