“Empty of Me” Arr. David Lantz Fill me, Lord, and keep me empty of me, empty of me, empty of me. Fill me, Lord, and keep me empty of me, empty of me, empty of me. Fill me up, Lord, I want to overflow, fill me up with Your Spirt full and free. Turn me upside down, pour me out on the ground, fill me up and keep me empty of me.
UNISON PRAYER Gracious God, as we receive into the congregation another class of young people, we ask that their professions of faith will be living testimonies of their lives. We know what doubts and questions we were plagued with in our youth and how necessary it was for us to cling with all our might to our baptism and confirmation despite them. We know that our faith is the instruction of a lifetime and not the whim of a moment. Save us, Lord, from trusting in ourselves and help us to reaffirm our faith during this time of confirmation. Amen.
