    *GATHERING WORDS

One:    Holy, holy, holy is the Lord.

The Lord is holy in all ways.

Many:   God is holy, enthroned on the praises of God’s people. Praise the Lord our God;             holy is God.

One:    God has called us with a holy calling, to be holy and blameless in love, not because             of what we have done, but because of God’s own purpose and grace.

All:       Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come.

Jesus said, “Come along.” They dropped their nets and followed. They learned to heal, to love. You taught them to be fishers of people. Jesus, You know the beauty and the blunders in us, the warmth and the cold of us. Thank you for receiving it all, for calling us. Heal us. Teach us to love. Make us fishers of people.  Amen.
